DID YOU KNOW…
Open Arms Academy has one of the lowest teacher to student ratios in all of Kenya with about 5 students to each teacher. Our largest classes are Class 2 and Class 5 with 6 students each and our smallest class is Class 4 with 3 students. Some public schools in Kenya have a teacher student ratio as high as 90 students to 1 teacher and the average is about 40 students per teacher among both public and private schools. We plan on keeping that ratio much lower, even as the school grows, with a maximum class size of 25 students.
