How Sweet It Is . . .

Kenya Revenue Authority confiscated tons of sugar from some thieves recently and just donated ten 50-kg bags (1100 lb. total) to us.  One of our staff members, Matt, even got to be on the news!  Rachel, founder of Open Arms International,  mentioned this at the local Children’s Forum meeting  and afterward she was able to give two bags away to other orphanages (Care for Kids and One Heart Ministries) leaving 400kg (880 lbs.) for the needs of our children at Open Arms Village, as well as for our feeding program in Kambi Teso.  This much sugar  will last us quite a few  months.  Care for Kids sent Rachel a text message saying that just this morning they ran out of sugar and did not have any funds to buy more.  They thanked her profusely.  Isn’t God good that He provides to all of us at our time of need?!
