Volunteers..

Many of you may know Linda Rodman and her husband Dave. Linda has been with Open Arms in the UK since its early beginnings, taking care of our Finances and Office Management with the greatest dedication and commitment . Their love for Open Arms has prompted them to move to our Village in Kenya in a few weeks time, where they will continue to work with us over the next two years as highly skilled Volunteers.

We simply could not do our work without the selfless support from our wonderful Volunteers. Although they are not paid, they are of enormous value to us, working tirelessly as pivotal members of the Teams in Kenya, the US and UK.

All of our Volunteers are crucial to Open Arms: Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Assistasnts who work long hours at our medical clinics; Teaching Assistants, Operational and Development Staff, Construction and Management Support.  And of course our valuable Trustees who help to realise our vision and direct the growth of our organisation.

At this very moment, UK Volunteers are licking stamps an ensure that the mailing to our Supporters goes out this week. A number of other Volunteers from across the country have formed a Committee and work to ensure that we can have a succesful fundrasing dinner later this year.

Open Arms Volunteers, you are just brilliant ! Thank you all for all that you are doing, we love you all.
